The Datu Bago Award is given to Davaoweños whose outstanding service to the Davao community has greatly contributed to the growth and development of Davao City.
The Datu Bago Awardees Organization, chaired by Mother Assumpta David, RVM, accepts nominees who are conferred the award during the Araw ng Dabaw annual celebratiion.
Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, assisted by Mother David, presided over awarding rites March 14 at the Lantawan Hall, Royal Mandaya Hotel.
